Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Must be of legal drinking age
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player mindset

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and outgoing personality
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment
Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology techniques
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Ability to verify legal drinking age accurately
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Adhering to all image and costume guidelines
Interaction with and entertainment of guests
Ensure that chicas get their drinks fast and efficiently
Prepare all beverages according to Ojos Locos specifications
Ensure that all guests have their drinking age verified
Operate a POS system to compute sale prices, total purchases, process cash/credit payment and provide customer with proper receipt and change
Ensure accurate records (including cash-out and tip reports)
Monitor guests for visible intoxication or suspicious activities and follow appropriate protocol, including notifying supervisor or security
Keep work area clean by manicuring bar, removing dishware/trash and performing light housekeeping duties
Complete set-up, side work and closing procedures, including preparing bar for service prior to opening or closing, stocking all supplies, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring bar/lounge area is in optimal condition for next shift
All other duties as assigned
