Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years bartending experience preferred
- Ability to obtain valid Racing License
- Knowledge of bar equipment and beverage systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Capability to handle high pressure and high volume environment
- Black non-slip shoes required
Job Qualifications

- Two or more years of bartending experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle high pressure, high volume demands
Job Duties
- Prepare drinks according to Derby City Gaming Downtown recipes and specifications
- Fulfill cocktail servers’ orders in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area
- Assist with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product
- Prepare and sell all drinks on the menu and handle transactions in accordance with cash handling policy
- Set up and breakdown of bar area including side work and projects as necessary
- Perform responsible alcohol service and ensure safety and security of team members and guests
