Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- legal age to serve alcohol
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- must be able to handle cash accurately
- basic knowledge of POS systems
- excellent hygiene and grooming standards
- team player mentality
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- knowledge of beverage preparation and cocktail recipes
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Adhering to all image & costume guidelines
- interaction with and entertainment of guests
- ensure that chicas get their drinks fast and efficiently
- prepare all beverages according to ojos locos specifications
- ensure that all guests have their drinking age verified
- operate a POS system to compute sale prices, total purchases, process cash / credit payment and provide customer with proper receipt and change
- ensure accurate records including cash-out and tip reports
- monitor guests for visible intoxication or suspicious activities and follow appropriate protocol, including notifying supervisor or security
- keep work area clean by manicuring bar, removing dishware / trash and performing light housekeeping duties
- complete set-up, side work and closing procedures, including preparing bar for service prior to opening or closing, stocking all supplies, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring bar / lounge area is in optimal condition for next shift
- all other duties as assigned
