The company prides itself on delivering not just meals but memorable dining experiences where new friends often become familiar faces. The culture at Red Lobster emphasizes passion, quality, and community, making it more than just a place to eat or work—it's a family and a significant part of local dining traditions.
The role of Bartender at Red Lobster is a key position that embodies this ethos. As a Bartender, you will be the face that welcomes guests with a smile, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing the bar and ensuring all stations are stocked and ready for service, following precise drink recipes, suggesting complementary beverages and snacks to guests, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout their visit. Accuracy in taking orders using the point-of-sale system and adherence to food safety standards are essential aspects of the job. Beyond preparation and service, the role requires consistent engagement with guests, offering drink refills, and ensuring clean and safe service areas.
This part-time position offers competitive compensation ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 per hour, coupled with weekly pay. Employees benefit from flexible schedules that accommodate various lifestyles and personal commitments. Red Lobster provides an attractive suite of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at under $10 per week, life and short-term disability insurance, and voluntary benefits. After one year of service, employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions, along with anniversary pay and discounted meals during shifts and as guests.
Red Lobster is committed to employee growth and development, offering training programs and career advancement opportunities within the company. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, safely lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive motions such as bending and reaching. The company fosters an inclusive workplace environment that champions equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on age, race, gender identity, disability, or veteran status. Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a dynamic team with exciting plans for the future, offering a workplace where every employee can thrive and contribute to a beloved seafood dining experience.
