Prior bar service experience
Basic reading, writing, math and verbal communication skills
Reliable transportation

Job Duties

Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and promotions
Completes assigned opening and closing side work as directed
Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drink preparation
Presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes correct change and/or completes credit transactions
Processes employee and manager food orders accurately
Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely manner
Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policies
Participates in the clearing and resetting of the bar area
May occasionally be scheduled to serve guests in a Carside To-Go capacity
Maintains a clean and organized work environment
Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase guest visits
Participates in local store marketing efforts to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
Removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
