Job Requirements

work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
read and write handwritten notes
lift and carry up to 30 pounds
move about facility and stand for long periods of time
walk or stand 100% of shift
reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

must be at least 18 years of age
must be able to read and communicate in English
restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
dressed in proper dress code, neat, clean and professional at all times

Job Duties

deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to company sanitation procedures
maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and managing intoxicated guests
assess guest demeanor and identify behavior that should be called to the attention of a manager
follow all bar recipes to deliver consistent product, control costs and maximize guest satisfaction
keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
accurately take guests food and drink orders
maintain thorough understanding of all menu items and answer guest questions
enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence using appropriate modifications and charges
responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at beginning and end of shift
demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at end of shift
ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated bar areas and other restaurant sections
work quickly and efficiently adhering to 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested
complete opening and closing duties in a timely manner
assist in party set up and breakdown
assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
buss and reset tables as needed
ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing and responding to guest needs timely
maintain favorable working relationships with all company team members to foster cooperative and harmonious working climate
listen to hear guests orders and needs, communicate verbally with guests and team members via Micros system
be friendly and able to smile frequently
