Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending or related experience preferred
Must be of legal drinking age
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stand for long periods
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Must pass background check and comply with alcohol service laws
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Physical ability to perform job duties including mobility requirements
Adherence to company dress code and grooming standards
Willingness to work as part of a team and follow company core values
Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Qualifications

Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stay comfortable on their feet for the entire shift
Position requires mobility including frequently kneeling, standing, stooping, bending, stretching, communicating, reaching, and manipulating objects
May be required to climb step stools up to 3 feet tall
Must be capable of using Courage to work under pressure
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Extreme attention to detail and quality
Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Previous experience as a bartender or similar role
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions using Spirit

Job Duties

Own It by opening and closing the bar in a timely and responsible manner
Gain regular customers by serving beer, wine, and other beverages in a prompt and friendly way by showing Spirit
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar to include requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest and personnel guests to maintain accountability of all beverages served
Practice teamwork and clean as you go policies with Respect
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges and record charges to ensure to balance all money
Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Check IDs of all customers consuming alcoholic beverages that appear to be 30 years old and younger and ensure alcohol is served responsibly and according to all laws
Responsible for sanitation in and around the bar area
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment through Courage
Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns
Present Excellence with a professional appearance and mannerisms
Work effectively and efficiently with the venue team
Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management
Arrive at the scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work
Report to management before ending work shift
Perform other duties as assigned
