Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
- ability to work varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends
- walk or stand for extended periods of time
- able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly
- able to perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs
- ability to communicate quickly and accurately
- able to handle bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
- manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment
- ability to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- basic knowledge of beverage preparation and safety standards
- positive and sociable attitude throughout the workday
Job Duties
- Greet guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding guests expectations
- prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks
- pour wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste
- deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
- collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the point-of-sale system with ease
- count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present
- maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables
- order and maintain liquor and bar supplies, display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- properly dispose of broken glassware
- follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations
- sufficiently handle and accurately count money
- check identification of any guest consuming alcohol
- follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services
- observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
- assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
- communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
- performs opening, running and closing department duties as assigned
- prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred
