Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping required
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral, with ability to adjust focus
- Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification as required by California law
- Compliance with company policies and California labor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Job Duties
- Exceed customer expectations at the bar by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service guided by guest preferences and cues
- Efficiently craft every drink to perfection following safety, tools and recipe standards while serving customers responsibly
- Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as needed
- Provide expertise and support to servers on beverage selections and offerings
- Maintain commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
- Recommend and upsell menu items and drinks based on extensive product knowledge
- Ensure compliance with responsible beverage service laws and company policies
