The Bartender role is integral to our operation as it combines the art of mixology with customer service excellence. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of drink recipes, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and an ability to prepare these drinks efficiently while maintaining quality. Beyond beverage preparation, the bartender also plays a key role in guest interaction by taking food orders, suggesting menu items and drink pairings, and ensuring that all orders are correct and delivered promptly. As a bartender at our establishment, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, managing inventory to ensure adequate stock of supplies, and working closely with kitchen and serving staff to provide seamless service. This includes adhering strictly to alcohol serving laws and regulations, especially with respect to age verification, to ensure a safe and legal environment for our guests. You will be expected to process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and operate point of sale systems efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, customer-facing environment and enjoys multitasking and problem solving. Physical stamina is important as the position requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy items such as kegs and trays. Flexibility is also essential because the business operates during nights and weekends, requiring shifts that may fall outside of traditional business hours. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting, a 'Beer Savvy' Beer Server Certification, and possibly other required licenses depending on local regulations, will set the stage for success in this role.
