Job Description
Red Lobster began as a family-owned restaurant with the vision to provide people with something special: a connection to seafood and the coast. More than fifty years later, every seat in our family of over 500 restaurants continues that founding passion. Proudly, we set the table for our customers' favorite meals and special moments because we are more than just a place to eat and work. We are an integral part of the communities we serve where new friends become familiar faces.
As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will be an important part of this vibrant community and team. This position offers competitive weekly pay and flexible hours which are integrated with the overall supportive working environment that Red Lobster fosters. We provide excellent healthcare options including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 a week, as well as life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to support your well-being. Additionally, Red Lobster offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions after one year of service, plus anniversary pay when eligible. Employees enjoy discounted meal options during shifts and 25% off meals as guests.
The bartender role is designed for individuals who thrive on engaging with guests and creating memorable experiences through their service. You will welcome customers warmly, prepare and maintain the bar area including beverage stations and glassware, suggest items to enhance the guest experience, and craft drinks with precision following company recipes and standards. Accurately taking and entering food and beverage orders using our point-of-sale system ensures efficient service. Attention to guest needs, offering drink refills, and maintaining a clean, safe environment all contribute to delivering the quality experience Red Lobster is known for.
We invest in training and career advancement opportunities so that every team member has a path to grow and succeed with us. Physical requirements for the job include the ability to stand for shifts of 8 to 12 hours, bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Working collaboratively within a detail-oriented team setting is essential.
Red Lobster is excited about its future and invites you to be part of our journey. We take pride in being an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a welcoming workplace for everyone regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Our inclusive environment aspires to empower all employees to thrive as valued members of the Red Lobster family.
