Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Completion of basic food handling training
- Relevant local or state certification or food handler's permit
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Prior experience in high-volume bar environment preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Ability to converse in and comprehend English
- Physical ability to perform duties including frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to monitor safety and security issues
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Completion of basic food handling training
- Certification or permit as required by local or state law
- Prior experience in high-volume bar environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Greets guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possesses full knowledge of bar and menu items and makes recommendations
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently uses suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborates with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
