Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
current bartenders' certification or appropriate license
2-4 years of bartender experience
knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
excellent communication skills

Job Duties

Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
be accurate in order taking and confirm all special requests
be the master of the bar by understanding details to enhance conversations
work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
assist guests with concerns and guide them to satisfactory resolutions
finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily to ensure product quality
mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
input orders into register and create checks for guests
lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment, deposit cash drops, and secure bank
