The hotel’s design and atmosphere reflect this sincere connection to its local roots, fostering a warm and welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Currently, The Bradley Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Bartender to join the team at Birdie's Rooftop and the Arbor lobby restaurant. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to thrive in a dynamic and engaging setting. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills to build genuine and personable connections with guests, providing engaging service from their initial arrival through to their departure. Bartenders are expected to understand guest needs intuitively, prepare perfect beverages efficiently, and maintain an energetic and friendly demeanor. As a Bartender at The Bradley, you will be responsible for maintaining the bar setup, guiding guests through the beverage menu using descriptive selling techniques, ensuring accurate order taking, and managing beverage stocks. Additionally, you will mix, garnish, and present drinks with precision, adhering to standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area is crucial, including handling fresh fruit, vegetables, and perishables daily. You will also be tasked with inputting orders into the point-of-sale system, presenting accurate bills, securing cash deposits, and locking up equipment to protect company assets.
This role demands a person who is quick on their feet, able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, spirits, and current mixology trends, along with a valid bartender's certification or appropriate license. This opportunity is ideal for bartenders with 2-4 years of experience seeking to grow within a world-class property and further their career in hospitality.
