The Bartender role at One&Only Moonlight Basin is a crucial position responsible for delivering professional, customer-focused service to ensure a memorable dining and beverage experience for guests. The bartender collaborates closely with the Culinary and Service teams to uphold and exceed the One&Only service standards. Additionally, this role involves working with the Food & Beverage (F&B) Leadership team to establish training programs and implement strategies that support departmental goals. The bartender must maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage offerings, including drinks and food items, and ensure adherence to the proper sequence of service and standards. This includes a thorough understanding of beverage preparation methods, designated glassware, ingredients, garnishes, and strict compliance with state liquor laws, emphasizing responsible service. The role demands proactive engagement, including collecting and communicating guest feedback to management and assisting with any additional duties as required by the F&B department or hotel management. This position requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of high-standard hotel beverage practices, and certifications such as Montana state approved TIPS and Food Handler's certification. Job Duties
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all food and beverage offerings including drinks and food items
- Maintain a knowledge of food and beverage sequence of service and standards going above and beyond for guests and customers dining within the outlets
- Maintain proper knowledge and ability to sell both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and any menu items offered while maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the bar
- Use designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes as required
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising follow-up and hands-on management
- Continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to management
- Assist with other duties as required by food and beverage management or hotel management team
