We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and social environment where your ability to mix drinks, interact with guests, and contribute to the overall atmosphere will be highly valued. As a Bartender, you will play a critical role in shaping our guests' experiences by preparing cocktails and beverages to perfection, delivering prompt and courteous service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Beyond basic drink mixing, the role involves checking customer identification to verify age requirements, promoting specials and up-selling techniques, and addressing any guest concerns promptly by coordinating with management. The ideal candidate will be at least 21 years old, possess previous bartending or restaurant experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
In addition to the core bartending duties, you will be expected to provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest, ensure responsible alcohol service, and assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe. Physical stamina is required, as the job involves standing and mobility throughout an entire shift lasting up to eight hours, as well as working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so that servers can deliver the best drink possible
- Work the service bar in a friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure all drink orders have been rung in
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
- Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
- Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
- Address guest concerns and inform manager
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
- Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area
- Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest
- Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist guests and team members
- Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
