Job Requirements

Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Previous bartender or restaurant experience preferred
Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
English language and professional communications skills are required
Ability to work in a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so that servers can deliver the best drink possible
Work the service bar in a friendly and efficient manner
Ensure all drink orders have been rung in
Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
Address guest concerns and inform manager
Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area
Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest
Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist guests and team members
Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
