Job Description
Red Lobster is a family-owned seafood restaurant chain that has been delighting guests for over fifty years with its passion for quality seafood and exceptional dining experiences. With over 500 restaurants nationwide, Red Lobster has built a reputation as a beloved destination for guests seeking memorable meals and warm hospitality in a comfortable coastal-inspired setting. The company emphasizes its commitment to community, where customers become familiar faces and staff members grow within a supportive and opportunity-rich environment.
Currently, Red Lobster is seeking enthusiastic and attentive Bartenders to join their team. As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere by welcoming guests with a smile, setting up and maintaining the bar area, and skillfully crafting drinks that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your ability to suggestively sell drinks, appetizers, and desserts enhances the guest experience and contributes directly to the restaurant's success. You will also be responsible for accurately taking orders, using the POS system effectively, and ensuring that guests’ needs are met throughout their visit with timely refills and table maintenance.
This position offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling, making it an attractive choice for those seeking work-life balance. Red Lobster provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage starting at less than $10 per week, as well as life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. Employees also benefit from a 401(k) retirement plan with company matches after one year of service, anniversary pay for eligible staff, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Importantly, Red Lobster invests in training and career growth opportunities, ensuring that every team member has a path to advance and succeed within the company.
To succeed in this role, Bartenders must be physically able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely, as well as remain standing for shifts that can last 8 to 12 hours. The role requires individuals to be team players with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with all food safety standards is mandatory, alongside excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for guests. Red Lobster values diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing an inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
Working at Red Lobster means becoming part of a vibrant team focused not only on serving great food but also on fostering meaningful connections and career development. Whether you are just starting your hospitality career or looking to grow with a nationally recognized brand, Red Lobster offers a dynamic and rewarding environment to thrive.
