The role of a Bartender at Cinepolis USA is integral to the theater's operation and guest experience. Bartenders are expected to embody a spirit of excellence and fun, creating an inviting and memorable atmosphere for all guests. Through expert drink preparation and excellent customer service, bartenders enhance the overall enjoyment of each visit. They must be knowledgeable about the bar menu, capable of making recommendations, and ensure every drink served meets strict quality standards. The position demands attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety regulations. Bartenders at Cinepolis play a critical role in upholding the company’s standards of "Nice and Amazing Service," welcoming guests warmly, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and supporting the theater team with essential duties. This role requires a dedication to hospitality, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining the bar area and inventory. Bartenders will also engage with guests to navigate any complaints or special requests, working collaboratively with management when necessary. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of bartending experience with full bar
- ServSafe and alcohol training certifications required
- Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management
- Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude
- Great communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues in a positive manner
- Flexible working hours including nights, holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Greet guests who approach all bar area immediately with a smile and warm hospitality, embodying nice and amazing service
- Demonstrate passion and commitment by rapidly and accurately taking food and beverage orders and using selling maximizations for every guest
- Create a unique and amazing experience for guests by possessing full knowledge of bar and menu items and being able to make recommendations
- Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements, 21 or order, for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for server orders, patrons of the bar, lobby and lounge following standard recipes
- Clean as you go including glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables
- Implement alcohol service and safety training, including but not limited to the following: ensuring that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only, not over serving an intoxicated guest, and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary
- Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
- Keep Bar Supervisor up to date on inventory levels
- Wash and sanitize all stemware
- Process all payments correctly and promptly to ensure they have a smooth transition into the theater
- Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist
- Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures including but not limited to side work
- Other duties as assigned
