The role of a Bartender at Red Lobster is integral to delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for welcoming and greeting guests warmly, ensuring their first impression is positive from the moment they sit down. You will prepare the bar ahead of service by setting up pour and glassware stations and making sure everything is stocked adequately throughout the shift. You will play an active role in driving sales by suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts, providing guests with recommendations tailored to their preferences.
Your expertise in mixing drinks to established standards using precise recipes, glassware, and garnishes will showcase your professional bartending skills. In addition, you will take accurate food and drink orders, enter them into the POS system correctly, and check back with guests to provide refills and clear away used items to maintain a comfortable dining environment. Handling payment transactions promptly and courteously, you will thank guests and invite them to return, leaving them with a lasting positive impression.
The position requires adherence to food safety standards and the ability to maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization at the bar. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds, and stand for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.

Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Ability to bend reach stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
- Ability to remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior bartending experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
- Setting up the bar including pour and glassware stations prior to opening and limited restocking beverages mixes garnishes as needed
- Suggestively selling drinks appetizers and desserts
- Making all drinks to standard using the recipe glassware and garnish
- Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS properly
- Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
- Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner thanking guests and inviting them to return
- Following all food safety standards
