The role of the Bartender at Red Lobster is vital in creating a positive guest experience by delivering excellent service and crafting beverages to high standards. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up and maintaining the bar area, and suggestively selling drinks along with appetizers and desserts. Your expertise in mixing drinks according to set recipes, glassware, and garnishes will ensure quality and consistency in every beverage served. Accuracy in taking and processing food and drink orders through the POS system is essential, as well as regularly checking in with guests to refill drinks and clear tables. You will also be responsible for delivering and settling checks promptly, thanking guests, and inviting them to return, all while adhering to strict food safety standards. This role requires a strong team player who can multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail throughout an 8 to 12-hour shift. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and remain standing for extended periods.
