The company's foundation is deeply rooted in the passion for providing exceptional seafood dining experiences that create lasting connections between guests and the coast. With more than 500 locations, Red Lobster has grown into a household name recognized for its commitment to quality, community engagement, and memorable meals. The company's culture emphasizes inclusivity, teamwork, and opportunities for career growth, making it a preferred employer in the restaurant industry. Employees enjoy a vibrant work environment where new friends quickly become familiar faces, and every role is valued deeply in contributing to guests' favorite dining moments.
The Bartender role at Red Lobster is a critical position responsible for delivering outstanding service and enhancing the guest experience through expert beverage preparation and friendly engagement. This role involves welcoming guests warmly, maintaining an organized and well-stocked bar, and skillfully crafting drinks to high standards using established recipes, glassware, and garnishes. Bartenders are expected to upsell drinks, appetizers, and desserts to boost sales while ensuring timely, accurate order entry using POS systems. Beyond drink preparation, bartenders must check back with guests to provide attentive service, manage table cleanliness, deliver and settle checks efficiently, and follow all food safety protocols.
The position offers weekly pay and competitive wages, alongside flexible scheduling to accommodate various availability needs. Employees are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. After one year of service, employees can participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions. Additionally, Red Lobster celebrates employee loyalty with anniversary pay for qualifying team members and provides discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
Red Lobster invests in its employees by providing ongoing training and opportunities for career advancement. This dedication to professional development ensures those who join the team can grow their skills and pursue new opportunities within the company. Physical demands for the role include the ability to stand for long shifts of 8 to 12 hours, bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities are essential qualities for success in this fast-paced environment.
Red Lobster is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, fostering a welcoming workplace for everyone, regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. With exciting growth plans underway, there has never been a better time to join the Red Lobster family and be part of a brand that values its people as much as its guests.
