As a Bartender/Waitstaff team member, you will be expected to embody the Spare Time Service Standards, known as the Code S.E.R.V.E., which emphasizes professionalism, attentiveness, and a guest-focused approach. You will be responsible for serving guests using Spare Time Entertainment’s Steps of Service, demonstrating thorough knowledge of all menus and making informed recommendations to enhance the guest experience. This role also involves preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and company guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink served.

In addition, the position requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas, including bussing tables, assisting with food preparation when necessary, and adhering strictly to all food safety and quality regulations. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for reviewing guests’ identification, monitoring alcohol consumption, and managing transactions efficiently using the POS system. You will also play a key role in inventory control, communication with supervisors about shortages, and maintaining certifications required by state regulations and the company.

The job requires physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in environments with varying noise levels and lighting effects. It may also involve working with large crowds and children, particularly during busy or special events. Flexibility to work long hours and frequent weekends is essential to meet the operational needs of the business.
