The current opportunity is for an on-call Bartender position located at the Warren Conference Center & Inn in Ashland, Massachusetts. This role is central to creating memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. The position offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $23.00 per hour and requires availability during various shifts, preferably including nights and weekends. As a Bartender at FLIK Hospitality Group, the individual will be responsible for maintaining the bar’s presentation and inventory, ensuring compliance with state and federal liquor laws, and providing a warm, welcoming service atmosphere. Job Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience is required
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts preferred
  • Ability to work on-call schedule
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform cash handling accurately
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Sets up assigned bars
  • requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
  • Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Takes and/or processes orders for drinks
  • mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes
  • practices prudent portion control
  • Checks guests at the bar for proper identification
  • Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained

  • Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed
