Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of serving or bartending experience in an upscale establishment
  • Strong wine, beer, and spirits knowledge
  • Hotel or resort experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Effective guest communication skills
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Valid Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of serving or bartending experience in an upscale establishment with strong wine, beer, and spirits knowledge
  • Hotel or resort experience preferred
  • Ability to remain on feet for the entire shift and communicate with guests professionally and effectively
  • A consistently positive, energetic, and above-and-beyond attitude
  • Valid Maricopa County Food Handlers Card

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards
  • Build rapport with guests by delivering enthusiastic, above-and-beyond service
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • Check completed orders with the guest’s original order to ensure accuracy and satisfaction
  • Serve and take orders from guests seated at the bar area, offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
  • Demonstrate passion for craft cocktails and contribute creative ideas for cocktail development and menu innovation when opportunities arise
