Physical standards for the role include the ability to remain stationary and exhibit well-paced mobility for up to four hours at a time, frequently reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 25 pounds. The job entails transporting plates, glasses, and baskets throughout the dining and service areas approximately 30 times per shift depending on business flow. Bartenders must also be capable of clear verbal communication and attentive listening to successfully coordinate with restaurant staff. Usage of protective hand coverings, face masks, disinfectant cleaning supplies, and frequent hand washing are required to maintain health and safety standards.
