Job Description

Ruth's Chris Steak House, established in 1965, is a renowned upscale restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences centered around its legendary steaks. Over the decades, Ruth's Chris has built a reputation not only for its exquisite menu but also for its commitment to fostering a family-like atmosphere among its team members. The company prides itself on creating a work environment where employees can be themselves, grow professionally, and contribute to an unmatched level of hospitality. This dedication to teamwork and guest satisfaction has cemented Ruth's Chris as a premier destination for steak lovers and a desirable place to build a career in hospitality.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders to join our front-of-house team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about crafting excellent beverages and delivering friendly, prompt, and attentive service. The role requires bartenders to prepare and serve a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with excellence, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience. Beyond mixing drinks, bartenders are responsible for maintaining the bar’s inventory by restocking and replenishing supplies, ensuring the bar is service-ready at all times.

Working at Ruth’s Chris means being part of a team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service while nurturing a positive and supportive environment. Bartenders must comply with all state and local liquor laws, ensuring safe and responsible consumption. Adaptability and teamwork are essential, as bartenders also support other front-of-house positions when needed, working cohesively to create an outstanding guest experience. The ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills is vital to thriving in this dynamic role.

This position offers $17.75 per hour plus tips, reflecting the value placed on the skills and dedication bartenders bring to the table. Additionally, team members enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance eligibility when working an average of 30 hours per week, a 401(k) plan with competitive company match, dining discounts, and an employee assistance program. Paid sick leave starts accruing from the first day of employment at one hour for every 30 hours worked, and employees who stay for at least one year are eligible for paid family and medical leave of up to two weeks. A referral program also rewards employees for helping to bring great talent onboard with bonus incentives.

Joining Ruth's Chris as a Bartender is more than just taking a job; it is about starting a career with endless growth possibilities, ongoing training, and the chance to be part of a legacy of legendary hospitality.
