Job Requirements

- Prior experience working in a restaurant
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
- Familiarity with standard drink recipes
- Must be 21 or older
- Legal age according to state regulations to serve and pour alcohol

Job Duties
- Pass all server and bartender tests
- Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language
- Work as a team with all restaurant personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service
- Keep all areas cleaned and stocked to standards
- Serve food items to customers seated at the bar
- Mix, garnish and serve drinks following standard recipes
- Ring drink orders into computer, collect money, make change
- Stock bar with supplies such as beer, wine, liquor, ice, glassware and napkins
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
- Wash and sterilize stemware
- Be attentive and offer assistance proactively
- Count drinks guests are served and monitor alcohol consumption
- Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times
- Anticipate guest needs and acknowledge signals
- Take, fill and check on to-go orders
- Handle money responsibly
- Communicate with servers to run drinks when ready
- Serve alcohol responsibly, arrange taxis if necessary, involve management as needed
- Perform other duties as directed
