The Bartender role at Elevate Entertainment Group involves being a key part of delivering an entertaining and enjoyable atmosphere to guests. This position requires a professional who is not only skilled in mixology and beverage service but also focuses on creating a welcoming, friendly environment for all patrons. Bartenders are responsible for greeting guests, taking beverage orders, efficiently managing sales through point-of-sale systems, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of the menu and ongoing promotions. They support the overall guest experience by ensuring prompt service, maintaining cleanliness, and following all food and alcohol safety guidelines. The role also includes responsibilities such as delivering food and drinks to tables, bussing tables, and maintaining various common areas clean and orderly. Candidates for this position should be guest-focused with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team under high-pressure situations. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform job duties that include prolonged standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting. Job Requirements
- HS diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age in OK, VA and NC)
- Food handler and state alcohol certificate required
- Previous high volume bartending experience preferred
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends including increased hours during peak times
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to walk and climb stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Job Duties
- Guests can enjoy refined food and beverages from their scratch kitchens and bars while immersing themselves in a variety of entertainment options for everyday fun
- The Bartender provides our guests with fun, efficient and excellent service
- Assist guests with ordering food and beverages at the bar or cocktail table
- Greet all guests as they enter the bar area
- Take orders and properly ring in sales using a POS station and/or handheld POS device
- Know the full restaurant and bar menu, make thoughtful menu suggestions
- Knowledgeable of upcoming movies, advanced ticket sales and all promotions
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their order and service
- Deliver food and drinks to tables, bus tables
- Follow all food and alcohol safety guidelines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and clutter free environment
- Clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of all common areas, including but not limited to, lobby, restrooms, countertops, hallways, trash receptacles, game room, bowling lanes, self-service stations
- Complete all opening, closing and side-work duties
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
- Work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure
