The Bartender role at Elevate Entertainment Group is tailored for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic and fun environment. The primary responsibility is to provide guests with efficient, friendly, and engaging service, enhancing their entertainment experience at the bar or cocktail area. Bartenders are expected to be knowledgeable about the full restaurant and bar menu, including the latest movies, promotions, and advanced ticket sales, allowing them to make thoughtful suggestions and answer guest inquiries confidently.
In this role, bartenders will greet all guests as they enter the bar, take drink and food orders using POS systems or handheld devices accurately, serve beverages and food efficiently, and ensure guest satisfaction by checking back after orders are served. Maintaining a clean, safe, and clutter-free bar environment is essential, along with adhering strictly to food and alcohol safety guidelines. Bartenders will also be responsible for cleaning glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and various common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and entertainment zones including game rooms and bowling lanes.
The job demands strong verbal communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a hospitality-minded attitude that is both friendly and guest-focused. Job Requirements
- hs diploma or GED certificate preferred
- must be at least 18 years of age / 21 years of age in OK, VA and NC
- food handler and state alcohol certificate required
- previous high volume bartending experience preferred
- availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
- prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- must be able to lift 50 pounds at times

Job Duties
- greet all guests as they enter the bar area
- take orders and properly ring in sales using a POS station and/or handheld POS device
- know the full restaurant and bar menu, make thoughtful menu suggestions
- knowledgeable of upcoming movies, advanced ticket sales and all promotions
- check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their order and service
- deliver food and drinks to tables, bus tables
- follow all food and alcohol safety guidelines
- maintaining a clean, safe and clutter free environment
- clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment
- maintaining cleanliness of all common areas, including but not limited to, lobby, restrooms, countertops, hallways, trash receptacles, game room, bowling lanes, self-service stations
- complete all opening, closing and side-work duties
- other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
