The role of a bartender with our bar involves much more than just preparing drinks. It is a dynamic position that requires attention to detail, an engaging personality, and the ability to provide timely, accurate, and friendly service consistently. You will be responsible for taking beverage orders from guests and servers, preparing drinks according to our standard drink recipes, and serving them with a smile. Engaging with guests, recognizing regulars, and making personalized drink recommendations are integral to fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
In addition to drink preparation, the bartender plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This includes sterilizing glassware, organizing bottles and glasses for efficient service, clearing and resetting tables, and restocking garnishes and snacks. You will also handle payments, process credit card charges, and ensure the bar's inventory and supplies are replenished timely. Reporting any equipment or maintenance issues ensures the smooth operation of our bar.
This role demands a flexible and cooperative attitude as you may be required to assist other team members or fill in as needed to maintain seamless service. - previous bartending experience preferred

Job Duties
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with standard drink recipes
- learn the names and personally recognize regulars
- record drink orders accurately and immediately into the register system
- accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if applicable
- wash and sterilize glassware
- prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons
- maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- clear and reset tables in bar area
- present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
- maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
- receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar
- report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager
- assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility as directed by the Bar manager or immediate supervisor
- maintain a positive attitude and always smile
