As a bartender at Jalapeno Tree, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience through your mixology skills and customer service expertise. This position involves preparing, garnishing, and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Bartenders work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations and timely service. The role demands an energetic and motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of safety and sanitation. Alongside crafting drinks that delight customers, this role also involves handling cash and credit transactions accurately, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- TABC Certification for serving alcohol
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
- ability to stand for prolonged periods move at a rapid pace bend twist and lift products weighing up to 35 pounds
- frequent exposure to varying temperatures cooler/freezer and kitchen area
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences
- maintain a clean and organized bar area including stocking supplies and managing inventory
- engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner taking orders and providing recommendations
- ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
- assist with opening and closing duties as needed
