The Bartender role at Logans Roadhouse is a dynamic position crucial for maintaining the upbeat and hospitable vibe of the bar area. This position entails the complete management of the bar setup, upkeep, and service operations. The Bartender will be responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by adhering to standardized recipes and protocols. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the Bartender must coordinate efficiently with fellow bartenders and other service departments, including back-of-the-house staff, to ensure smooth service delivery.

In this role, the bartender will engage directly with guests, checking IDs to comply with legal requirements and promoting drink specials to enhance the guest experience and contribute to sales growth. Handling cash transactions accurately via a Point-of-Sale system is a vital administrative aspect of the job. The bartender is also charged with maintaining a clean and organized bar environment, including routine cleaning tasks and restocking supplies such as ice, fruit, and juices. Physical stamina and sensory attentiveness are important, as the job involves considerable movement, lifting, bending, and the ability to distinguish between colors and communicate effectively.

This position requires a commitment to the appearance standards set by Logans Roadhouse and successful completion of the company’s training and alcohol certification processes within the first 60 days of employment. Candidates must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol, meeting state and local regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old to pour alcohol or as state regulations dictate
  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Successful completion of hourly position validations including company-required training and alcohol certification (ServSafe) within 60 days of employment
  • Adheres to Logans Roadhouse Appearance Standards

Job Duties

  • Check Guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft beer, bottled beer, wine and liquor according to procedure/recipe and restaurant specifications
  • Perform correct money transactions and make correct change utilizing Point-of-Sale system
  • Communicate with Guests and team members to promote specials and suggestions
  • Reconcile daily bar inventories with bar cash-received totals
  • Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications
  • Perform morning and after-hours cleaning, including mopping and removal of bar floor mats
  • Assist other Front of House and Back of House team members as needed
  • Cultivate new guests and retain current guests to drive sales
