Job Description

Typhoon Texas is a vibrant water park destination offering thrilling aquatic attractions and exceptional guest experiences in a family-friendly environment. Located in Texas, this entertainment venue is dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and refreshing escape for visitors of all ages. The park features a wide array of water rides, dining options, and event spaces that cater to both locals and tourists alike. Typhoon Texas is part of the Pyek Group, which is committed to upholding high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness to ensure guests enjoy a memorable experience from start to finish.

The role of Bartender at Typhoon Texas is a dynamic and customer-focused position within the Food and Beverage Department, specifically as part of the Bars and Cabanas team. This employment opportunity offers candidates the chance to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while embodying the unique Texas-friendly hospitality the park prides itself on. The Bartender position requires versatility as individuals cross-train in bartending and cabana server roles and may assist as a runner or barback when needed. This role is crucial in maintaining the lively atmosphere of the park by preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic beverages to guests of legal drinking age, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining an organized and welcoming bar area.

Bartenders are expected to have thorough knowledge of the specialty drink menu, draft and bottled beer offerings, and be capable of confidently describing these selections to guests, enhancing their overall experience. Beyond beverage service, this role involves a strong guest-service orientation, requiring bartenders to be familiar with the park layout and offerings to appropriately assist guests with inquiries and provide helpful guidance. Bartenders must adhere strictly to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) approved alcoholic beverage service plans and comply with all Alcohol, Health Department, and local regulations. This position demands a proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and delivering a “Good-Clean-Fun” experience for all park visitors. Joining the Typhoon Texas team as a Bartender means being an integral part of creating memorable moments for guests, contributing to the lively and welcoming ambiance of the park.
