The Bartender role at Logans Roadhouse is a key position that combines both preparation and guest interaction. This role involves the setup, maintenance, and operation of the bar including stocking and cleaning duties. The bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standardized recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality. This position requires effective coordination and communication not only with customers but also with fellow bartenders and other restaurant staff, including both front-of-house and back-of-house team members. The ability to work well in a collaborative environment is essential.

In addition to drink preparation, the bartender will manage cash transactions through the Point-of-Sale system, ensure compliance with state and local alcohol regulations by verifying guest identification, and maintain a clean and organized bar area. Other duties include reconciling daily bar inventory, promoting specials and recommendations to enhance sales, and assisting in various restaurant functions such as restocking supplies and supporting other team members as needed. The job demands physical stamina due to frequent lifting, bending, walking, stooping, and other general physical activities.

Candidates for this role should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with bartending experience preferred. Maintaining adherence to appearance standards and successful completion of company training, including alcohol certification such as ServSafe, within the first 60 days of employment is also required. This full-time or part-time position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality, have great communication skills, and possess a strong ability to multitask in a lively environment. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
  • mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft beer, bottled beer, wine and liquor according to procedure/recipe and restaurant specifications
  • perform correct money transactions and make correct change utilizing point-of-sale system
  • communicate with guests and team members to promote specials and suggestions
  • reconcile daily bar inventories with bar cash-received totals
  • maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications
  • assist other front-of-house and back-of-house team members as directed
