Job Description
Invited is a distinguished leader in the hospitality and service industry, proudly operating as the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide since its founding in 1957. With a network that includes over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs, Invited is dedicated to building meaningful relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees. The company places a strong emphasis on providing first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and fitness centers. This commitment to excellence fosters an inclusive, dynamic, and supportive environment for over 17,000 employees who are passionate about delivering a premier club experience.
The role of Bartender at Invited is integral to maintaining the high standards of service expected at these prestigious clubs. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for beverage control, precise pouring, and efficient serving of drinks while keeping the bar area impeccably clean and organized. Your role extends beyond simple service; you will engage with club members and guests, providing exceptional personalized experiences by adhering to the club's standards and exceeding expectations through the 3-steps of service methodology. Reporting directly to key leaders such as the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day success of the food and beverage operations.
Your daily responsibilities will include setting up the bar for service by preparing bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring the bar is fully stocked and orderly throughout the shift. You'll have comprehensive knowledge of the club's beverage menu, including daily features and specials, and you will be responsible for maintaining beverage inventory and control. Exceptional customer service skills are crucial as you greet and recognize members by name, promptly and accurately fulfill their orders, resolve complaints professionally, and consistently support fellow team members.
The club values flexibility and teamwork highly; thus, as a Bartender, you may be required to assist with additional tasks and adapt to the evolving needs of the club environment. Safety and professionalism are paramount, with expectations for adherence to company policies and safe working practices. Employees are encouraged to pursue personal and professional growth, including maintaining relevant certifications in alcohol and food safety. The physical demands of the role include standing for extended periods, working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, and handling equipment and inventory requiring physical exertion.
Invited offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package to its full-time employees, encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. This package reflects their commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of their team members. Invited's culture promotes diversity, inclusiveness, and long-term career development, making it an ideal workplace for those seeking to contribute to a prestigious and thriving hospitality company. Join Invited and be part of an organization that not only values excellence and professionalism but also fosters an enriching and supportive work environment where your efforts drive the continued success and exceptional reputation of the nation's premier private clubs.
