Job Description

Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse is a vibrant and bustling restaurant known for creating memorable dining experiences through their Craveably Crafted™ Food & Beer and Uncommon Hospitality. As a popular dining destination, Parry's offers a lively atmosphere where guests can enjoy high-quality food and drinks in a social, energetic setting. The establishment takes pride in its welcoming environment and the exceptional service provided by its team members. With a commitment to guest satisfaction and community connection, Parry's stands out as a place where both staff and guests feel valued and engaged.

At Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse, bartenders are at the heart of the guest experience. This role is essential in shaping the energy, flow, and overall guest interactions at the bar. Bartenders operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, requiring a blend of technical skill and emotional intelligence to create standout moments every shift. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy building relationships with guests, and have a keen interest in craft beverages. Tips are included in the total hourly compensation, underscoring the value Parry's places on quality service and rewarding performance.

The Bartender role at Parry's is focused on executing bar duties with precision, engaging guests consistently, and driving sales through confident recommendations and product knowledge. One of the cornerstones of this position is applying the proprietary CHEERS standard, which encompasses a series of guest service principles: Cheerful Prompt Greet, Hospitality First, Engage Guests, Ease Their Needs, Ready for 'Em, and Swipe That Card - Say Goodbye. This approach ensures a warm, responsive, and efficient service that builds rapport and encourages repeat visits.

Bartenders at Parry's are responsible for preparing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently. They maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhere to sanitation standards, and perform opening and closing duties. Supporting servers and front-of-house leadership is also a key part of the role to help maintain seamless service flow throughout the restaurant. This position demands strong multitasking abilities, communication skills, and a professional, guest-centered attitude. Bartenders need to be able to work nights and weekends, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Parry's offers flexible scheduling and ongoing training to help bartenders grow their careers in the hospitality industry. Employees benefit from discounted meals at 50% off, a 401(k) plan with company match, and health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage available to eligible full-time team members. Joining Parry's means becoming part of a team that values energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality, where every shift presents an opportunity to make a difference in guests' dining experiences.
