The position focuses on guaranteeing excellent customer service by implementing and maintaining the "Water Street Way" standards across the restaurant operations. The role involves close collaboration with management to identify and solve restaurant issues, participation in weekly meetings to improve service delivery, and adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with cleanliness and product standards, training new customer service personnel, and managing operational systems within the front-of-house and bar areas. The employee is expected to obtain and maintain certifications such as a valid TABC certification and the Nueces County Food Handler's Permit, which are essential for compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must exhibit a friendly, upbeat personality, maintain high personal hygiene standards, and adhere strictly to the company dress code, which includes specific uniform requirements to promote a cohesive professional image. Job Requirements
- Score of 90% or better on all Health Department inspections
- Score of 90% or better on all mystery shopper reports
- Follow all dress code requirements for Wait Person/Bartender Operation including black Dickie pants, black long sleeve cotton-style shirt or black polo with logo, black non-skid shoes, black belt, no visible tattoos, no outward piercings (clear balls okay), WS apron
- All routine work documented in operational manual
- Work performed according to company policies and standards
- Client and company information held strictly confidential
- Provide staff assistance as requested and cover other areas or departments as needed
- Respect co-workers and maintain workflow
- Attend quarterly meetings and yearly evaluations
- Recommend ideas for department improvement
- Able to work specified shifts
- Restrain hair below collar length
- May be required to stock and maintain inventory and record sales and waste
- Must maintain clean floor and table areas

Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
- Ability to perform simple math and handle money

- Ability to work A.M./P.M. shifts as specified by management
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass all tests required for qualification of position with score of 90% or higher
- Ability to greet, seat and/or take food or beverage orders courteously
- Ability to maintain clean and neat work area
- Ability to accurately complete assigned paperwork as required
- Ability to respect other employees' name, space and concentration needs
Job Duties
- Bring restaurant issues to CS/Bar Manager to take to weekly meetings
- Meet or exceed "Water Street Way" standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction
- Implement all systems and forms for FS/Bar/OBar Operation
- Assist in the training of all new CS personnel (Certified Trainer)
- Adhere to all the policy & procedures of Water Street
- Adhere to all preshift topics that pertain to the department
- Obtain and maintain valid TABC certification and Nueces County Food Handler's Permit at all times
