This position is part-time and non-management, with a pay rate of $14.22 per hour and the opportunity to receive tips, making it ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours with the benefits of working at a world-renowned hotel brand. The Circ Lobby Bar bartender role involves preparing drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using standard measuring systems, ensuring quality and consistency in every beverage served. Associates in this role are responsible for issuing, opening, and serving wine and champagne bottles, maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar area, bar unit, tables, and equipment to meet Marriott's high standards.

In addition to beverage preparation, bartenders at Circ Lobby Bar prepare fresh garnishes, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and manage the transportation of supplies to the bar setup area. They also wash soiled glassware, clear soiled wares from the bar top and tables, anticipate and communicate replenishment needs, process all payment methods accurately, and perform bank reconciliation and designated cashier reports at the end of shifts. This role requires securing liquor, beer, wine, and related supplies, completing closing duties, and adhering strictly to all safety and security policies and procedures.

A successful candidate will be able to welcome and acknowledge guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipate and address guests’ service needs proactively, and communicate clearly and effectively. The role demands physical stamina, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and the ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Bartenders must also be capable of operating in various physical environments, including narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over uneven or slippery surfaces.
