Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to local laws
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred experience in hotel or related field
  • Completion of bartender school or course preferred
  • Minimum one year bartending experience preferred
  • Maintain up-to-date alcohol serving certification such as TIPS
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance
  • Adhere to dress code and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions

  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation

Job Duties

  • Greet customers in a courteous and service-oriented manner
  • Take accurate drink and food orders
  • Mix cocktails and prepare beverages following standard recipes
  • Perform cashier duties including processing guest transactions
  • Set up and clean the bar before and after shifts
  • Stock and organize bar supplies including liquor, glassware, and garnishes
  • Use suggestive selling to increase sales
  • Maintain up-to-date alcohol serving certification
  • Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
  • Check orders for quality before serving
  • Manage beverage cost by minimizing waste
  • Take inventory and requisition supplies daily
  • Operate POS system for transactions
  • Pre-bus and bus tables
  • Attend meetings and training as required
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to dress code
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment
