Job Requirements

  • must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs
  • ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions
  • frequent immersion of hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 6 months of closely related serving experience
  • preferred experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment
  • ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • ability to converse comfortably with customers

Job Duties

  • take food and beverage orders
  • enter orders quickly and in proper sequence
  • serve food and beverages for guests in assigned and other sections
  • coordinate with kitchen to ensure timely service and food quality
  • provide highest quality of customer service at all times
  • maintain table appearance by pre-bussing and checking drink levels
  • present check for payment and provide change as needed
  • follow customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies
  • keep station clean and set up and take down station tables appropriately
