Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods

- previous experience in customer service or food service preferred

Job Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills
- experience with customer service or food service preferred
- passion for great coffee and ability to drink coffee
- experience with manual espresso machine
- ability to solve business related problems quickly and efficiently
- great relationship building skills and positive demeanor as a team player
- ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask
- flexibility to work weekends holidays and take two non consecutive days off
- high attention to detail
- ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships
- multi-lingual a plus
Job Duties
- Embody La Farm values through action example and communication
- ensure and exude world-class customer service and sales to internal and external customers including greeting every customer
- engage verbally with each customer and effectively sell through product knowledge and suggestive selling
- prepare specialty coffee drinks including latte art on demand in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrate expertise in equipment and tools such as machines brewers grinders
- ensure proper orders are made efficiently to execute ticket time goals
- deliver coffee and food orders to customers ensuring order confirmation
- assist in pre-busing and busing tables
- prepare syrups from scratch
- open close and maintain coffee station including fresh hot coffee fresh cold creams full condiments packaging clean and organized stock backup
- answer the phone to La Farm standards
- complete daily checklists
- perform side work as necessary
- ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies
- maintain grade A or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards
- uphold company standards and policies for opening and closing
- ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws
- perform other duties as assigned
