The Market Barista role is a seasonal position expected to start in April 2026 and conclude in October 2026, though the end date may be subject to change. The position offers a competitive starting hourly wage ranging from $21.57 to $28.04, with additional income through tips. As a Market Barista, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing guests’ experiences by providing prompt, friendly service within the grab-and-go café located on the hotel property. Responsibilities include preparing food and beverage orders that meet Hyatt’s high standards, utilizing point-of-sale systems to accurately capture and process guest orders and payments, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment that aligns with the hotel’s renowned housekeeping excellence.

This position also requires managing inventory, restocking supplies, and delivering orders to guest rooms as needed. The role demands individuals who are passionate about customer service, can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and possess excellent communication skills. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • basic math and POS system familiarity
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work well in a team
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to perform duties including standing and lifting
