Job Description

Currently, CC Holdings is expanding its team at the IGC Coffee Zon Cafes located in the Indiana Government Center. These cafes serve as vibrant community hubs where employees have the opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele in a fast-paced, friendly environment. The company is filling full-time and part-time barista and cashier positions with shifts available Monday through Friday, ranging from 6:30 am to either 2:30 pm or 4:30 pm, and the cafes remain closed on weekends and holidays.

The barista/cashier role at CC Holdings is designed for friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. Baristas are responsible for preparing an array of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothies, ensuring each order is crafted to perfection with consistency and sanitation as priorities. In addition, employees educate guests about the drink menu, recommend items, and strive to enhance the customer experience through suggestive selling and up-selling of special items.

As cashiers, team members manage transactions via point-of-sale systems, handling cash, debit, and credit cards accurately. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to balance cash drawers, and maintain the accuracy of register transactions. Starting pay is competitive, reaching up to $16.00 per hour plus tips, providing financial incentives for excellent service.

Job Requirements

  • Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards

  • merchandise products, check for quality, ensures presentation and restocks
  • provides service that is fast, timely and accurate by communicating, organizing tasks, and teamwork

  • assists in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer
