Job Requirements

Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards
prepares beverages in timely and sanitary manner
follows portion control and presentation specifications
restocks items throughout shift
cleans and maintains station with good safety and sanitation
properly uses and maintains equipment
provides friendly and efficient customer service
follows cash handling procedures
balances cash drawer accurately
demonstrates strong communication skills
willing to assist in other tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

Prior barista, cashier or customer service experience preferred
strong communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
attention to detail
ability to work well in a team
passion for hospitality and coffee
ability to follow guidelines and procedures

Job Duties

Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards
sets up station according to cafe guidelines
prepares all beverages as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the cafe
restocks all items as needed throughout shift
cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
uses and maintains all equipment in station properly
acts as the front line customer service representative, smiling, greeting customers and ringing orders quickly
demonstrates hospitality, respect and kindness toward customers and team members
merchandises products, checks for quality and ensures presentation and restock
provides fast, timely and accurate service by communicating, organizing tasks and teamwork
suggestive sells and informs customers of products and promotions
follows all cash handling procedures
assists in financial accountability by recording orders and balancing cash drawer
thanks customers and invites them to return
acts as a role model and helps train new employees
supports team operations, standards, and concept essence
adapts to changes as needed
demonstrates excellent communication and listening skills
shows passion for hospitality and coffee
assists in other tasks when asked
