Job Requirements

Food handlers license within 30 days of hire
Liquor license within 30 days of hire
Ability to commute to Kansas City, MO 64116
Ability to relocate to Kansas City, MO 64116 before starting work
Availability for AM shift
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work full-time or part-time

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or GED or work equivalent
Good understanding of the English language
Previous guest or customer relations training
Ability to operate MICROS point-of-sale system
TIPS, CARE, or equivalent certification or willingness to be certified

Job Duties

Welcome and connect with every customer
Discover guest needs and make recommendations
Answer questions about food, beverages, and hotel services
Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the MICROS system
Communicate special dietary requests to the kitchen
Prepare food, coffee, and beverages including alcoholic drinks
Perform side work and opening and closing duties
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
Prepare final bills, process payments, and handle cash
Complete opening and closing checklists
Count bank and complete cashier reports
Assist team members and perform bussing, cleaning, and food running
Thank guests and invite them to return
Fill in as needed to ensure smooth Bistro operations
