The cafe is expanding its footprint with the upcoming opening of its New Egg Harbor Cafe in Wilmette, Illinois, projected for August 2025, and is actively looking for passionate individuals to join their hospitality team, particularly as baristas, to help launch this new location.

Job Requirements

willingness to train ahead of new location opening at Glenview site
must be at least 18 years old
ability to stand for extended periods
reliable and punctual
legally eligible to work in the United States
physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and carrying supplies
availability to work flexible hours especially weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in barista or hospitality roles is a plus but not required
strong customer service and communication skills
ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
willingness to learn and adapt
ability to work early morning shifts
team player with a positive attitude
knowledge of beverage preparation and equipment handling

Job Duties

take and ring orders directly into the POS tablet
know and can prepare the entire beverage/barista menu including seasonal items
make and pour additional beverages on the menu including alcoholic drinks if 21 or over
know how to use and maintain barista/beverage equipment
restock beverage supplies
clean and organize work area
deliver beverages to guests
support other tasks as needed
perform other related duties as assigned
perform opening/closing and on-shift side work and maintenance properly
