Job Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand or move for extended periods
Availability to work full-time or part-time schedules
Strong communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of and compliance with food safety standards

Job Duties

Maintain the register and properly handle cash
Enter tips, place orders accurately, and keep a balanced drawer
Work closely with other staff to create a steady flow of service
Communicate any needs and stay close to the register
Create all of Bottega Louie's coffees and teas for the market and cafe
Responsible for abiding by Bottega Louie recipe standards, sanitation standards, and maintaining speed of service
Barista makes every drink with care and to the guests' likings
Keep a well stocked and organized work station and communicate any needs to utility or a manager
Keep a clean and well stocked market
Take out the trash, retrieve products, and restock
Properly store and rotate macrons
Assist with filling macaron trays and organizing macaron bins
Accurately describe all pastries and upsell to guests
Package all pastries for guests
Consolidate pastries and stock as needed
