The role of a full-time Barista at Aramark is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, social environments and seek unlimited career growth and opportunities. As a Barista, you will be the perfect blend in the team, responsible for preparing specialty drinks like coffees, teas, and other beverages following brand standards. You will also assist with food preparation in line with location standards, accurately operate the register or POS system, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers while anticipating their needs.

Your duties will include setting up and breaking down the coffee bar or stations, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restocking beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments, and adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. You will also manage your cash drawer workflow meticulously by counting, organizing, balancing, filling out cashier slips, and making deposits in compliance with Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures. The role requires focusing on maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment at all times, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene.

A Barista at Aramark is expected to work independently with limited supervision, upholding the company's dress code and sustainability practices. The position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms as required will be part of your daily routine.

Qualifications for this role include previous customer service experience, familiarity with cash handling, and preferably prior experience as a barista. Basic math and counting skills are essential, as is the ability to read, communicate clearly in English, and follow recipes accurately. Additionally, the position requires completion of Food Handling Certification if applicable.
