Job Requirements

  • Possess the interest and ability to become Barista certified by passing all required trainings within 90 days of start
  • Carry a friendly, energetic, and personable demeanor with a customer-first mentality
  • Exhibit strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Be reliable and punctual in attendance
  • Demonstrate physical ability to perform various tasks related to the role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about coffee and tea products
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and orders
  • Capability to multitask and adapt to changing demands

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and engage with them throughout their store experience
  • Determine customer needs through effective questioning and product knowledge sharing
  • Serve customers with a sense of urgency demonstrating that they come first
  • Provide consistent quality in preparing drinks and brewing coffee and tea
  • Actively participate in training to learn new and promotional products and expand product knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment
  • Follow company policies and procedures and adapt to operational needs as they change
