Job Description

The Village Dallas is a vibrant residential community spanning 307 acres, combining a dynamic lifestyle experience with a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. This mixed-use community offers residents great food, entertainment, and an engaging social environment. At the heart of The Village Dallas is a commitment to nurturing positively motivated and enthusiastic people, which is reflected in how the community fosters long-lasting relationships and strives towards ambitious goals. The Village Dallas is more than just a place to live; it is a place to connect, grow, and thrive. Employees are encouraged to be passionate and enthusiastic, ensuring the highest level of service to residents and visitors alike. The company culture emphasizes inclusivity, growth, and a hospitality-first mindset, making it an outstanding place for like-minded individuals who look to make a positive impact.

The role of Barista at The Village Dallas is integral to creating a warm and inviting café experience for the Upper East Side neighborhood. This role requires someone who is not only skilled at preparing quality coffee and beverages but also excels at building genuine connections with residents. As the sole barista on duty, this position carries the responsibility of serving as the face of the neighborhood café. It involves creating a hospitality-first environment where residents feel welcome and valued. The coffee program is an exclusive complimentary perk for Upper East Side residents, which makes each interaction more personal and less transactional. This is a distinct opportunity to engage with the community daily by crafting personalized experiences that extend beyond simply serving drinks.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and people, and a natural ability to foster community relationships. They will be self-motivated and comfortable working independently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in their craft. Maintaining a clean and well-stocked café environment is also a key part of the role, alongside supporting neighborhood events that build camaraderie, like Saturday Breakfast gatherings. The position offers a chance to deepen coffee knowledge and brewing techniques continually, enabling ongoing personal and professional growth. The Barista plays a pivotal role in enhancing resident satisfaction and contributing positively to The Village Dallas’ vibrant community culture. This is a part-time or full-time hospitality-driven position designed for someone who is passionate, personable, and proud to serve others with dedication and warmth.
